The debate at the end of tonight’s game was all about Thiago Silva and Virgil Van Dijk, and the pundits were split along Liverpool and Chelsea lines.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink did a great job of sticking up for Silva, saying he was “a little bit better” on the ball, giving him the edge between the two.
Of course the former Reds on the panel didn’t agree. But we know whose side we’re on. They are both top class players, as Jimmy says, but Silva on the ball is just something else.
