Chelsea will ‘not give up’ on priority summer signing and are ‘willing to do the rest’ to get it done

Chelsea’s attentions have turned to the rest of the season in the Premier League and domestic cups after winning the Club World Cup final this weekend.

The Blues came back from Abu Dhabi and will now be looking ahead to Saturday’s league match against Crystal Palace.

But as well as all of that, they are starting to look at their transfer plans for the summer when the next window opens, with various potential spots in the squad needing improving as they look to try and mount a title challenge next season.

At the back will be the main priority, and there is one name who continues to be linked by pretty much every source around, Jules Kounde of Sevilla.

Today, Marca, as cited by Sport Witness, claim that Chelsea have not given up on signing Kounde for the summer and he himself has ‘decided he will have a change of scenery’ and Chelsea are ‘willing to do the rest’. The Blues are ‘convinced that this time, they will not fail’.
