Sevilla defender Jules Kounde looks like a Chelsea target who they are just destined to land no matter what.
They have uncertainties surrounding three of their own defenders this summer, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen becoming free agents at the end of the season.

So they could soon need to be replacing 1, 2, or 3 centre backs come August.
However, according to The Daily Star, Chelsea are pushing to sign French international Kounde regardless of whether any of the above three end up leaving or not.
The Blues tried to sign him last summer but were priced out of a move in the end, much to the frustrations of the player himself.
But Chelsea are expected to go back in this summer, and as per the same report, there is a belief that they can land him for around £42m, which would be a fantastic deal for the club.
