“He wants to be with us” – Southampton manager makes big transfer claim about Chelsea player

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl believes that his club can attempt to pull off a major transfer deal this summer.

He watched his side thrash Brentford 4-1 in the Premier League last night and there was yet another goal from the in form striker Armando Broja, who is of course a Chelsea player on loan to The Saints this season without an option to buy.

That doesn’t stop Hasenhuttl claiming that his club can try to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer though, as reported by Hampshire Live.

When asked whether he has spoken to the club about keeping Broja beyond the summer, Hasenhuttl replied:

“Yes, sure. He likes it here, he loves it here. It would be great if he was our player.

“He wants to be with us, I think. You can feel this at every moment. The fans love him also, this is good.”

Big claims from the Southampton boss. But unfortunately Raplh, it won’t be up to you, or even Broja, who I’m pretty sure would jump at a chance to return to Chelsea if offered a role in the squad.

It’s totally in Chelsea’s hands.
