Striker Armando Broja is the current top goal scorer for Southampton in the Premier League this season, and for Chelsea fans invested in watching our youth sides over recent years, this will come as no surprise.
Broja has been on fire this season for The Blues and he has a massive future ahead of him, hopefully at Chelsea.
However, Southampton are hovering around and keen to sign the full international on a permanent deal.
I spoke with proven reliable insider The Secret Scout today for my own website, Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, and he delivered some very interesting stuff related to Chelsea on a range of different subjects.
One of those was Broja, and TSS says that Chelsea want him to stay at the club, but the Southampton owners do want to sign him.
The ball is in Chelsea’s court of course, but he did also speak about them having a first option to buy if they did sell him.
“Chelsea want him [Broja] to stay,” said TSS.
“But if they did let him go to Southampton in this window, they will include a first refusal option on him, the Southampton owners want him on a permanent deal.”
