Chelsea’s negotiating with Antonio Rudiger over a new contract to stay at the club past this summer would be highly pointless now, according to a report today.
The German international becomes a free agent this summer unless The Blues can convince him to sign an extension and stay in London, but other clubs are hovering and trying to sign him as well.

But Chelsea may as well give up any hope they have in keeping him, according to Talk Sport anyway, who today have made the claims that Rudiger will not stay at Chelsea at any price, no matter how much they offer him, and he has already decided to leave the club.
His heart is reportedly set on joining Real Madrid.
Big claims in my view, and I don’t feel that Rudiger would be so desperate to leave Chelsea. Personally if the money was offered, Rudiger would stay at Chelsea.
