Good players deserve good chants, and it’s shameful that Chelsea fans hadn’t yet settled on one for Edouard Mendy yet, after the year he’s had.
Last night they debuted one (to the tune of Shakira’s “Waka Waka” that sounds like it has the potential to last though.
You can hear that plenty of them aren’t too sure on the lyrics just yet – but once it really catches on we can see this being a classic for years to come.
It’s the least that Mendy deserves for 18 months of brilliant play.
