Former Blue doesn’t think Chelsea player ‘gets back into the team anytime soon’

Despite Chelsea getting all three points and winning the game against Watford on Wednesday night, it can certainly be put down as one of those games to forget, chalk off, and move on from.

This was purely from a performance perspective, and Chelsea certainly did not deserve to win the match. Watford will feel very hard done by at the very least not come away with a point against the current league leaders and European champions.

Far too many Chelsea players just didn’t turn up, and one in particular was just atrocious to say the least.

Saul Niguez got only his second Premier League start for Chelsea, but I’d be surprised if it also wasn’t his last.

He couldn’t put a foot right and was hauled off at half time, and former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy believes we won’t be seeing him in Chelsea blue anytime soon, as reported by The Chelsea Chronicle.

“I don’t think he gets back into the team anytime soon,” Cundy said.

“I think he’s had his chance. Everything seems chaotic in front of him. There is not a lot of composure about his game. His introduction to Premier League life has been the worse you can think of. I’ve got a lot of sympathy because it’s a tough league.”
