It’s time for the rumour mill to start viciously circling for January and whilst we expected Chelsea to be fairly quiet this window, they might have had their hand forced in two positions now.
We of course have the injury of Ben Chilwell to deal with, who will be out for the rest of this season now at least.

But another wing-back, Reece James, pulled up injured last night in our game against Brighton. Whilst it is not as severe and we aren’t sure how long he will be out for as of yet, this is bound to have Chelsea’s management and board pondering over options.
It might be wise to remember our interest in Wolves winger Adama Traore, who Matt Law of The Telegraph mentions on his latest transfer report on the London is Blue Podcast.
As he says, this is an area Tuchel wanted to strengthen before, but the board weren’t so keen. Well, they certainly need to strengthen the wing-backs now, there are no two ways about it.
