Chelsea not only dominated Juventus last night, they did it with 4 youth academy graduates in their team.
That was the main topic of discussion on the BT Sport analysis show after the game. Owen Hargreaves and Rio Ferdinand broke down the quality of the academy players, and how well Thomas Tuchel had done to integrate them into a top level team.
We’ve seen them grow into Premier League regulars over the last couple of years, and now they’re turning into European stars. After years of waiting, it’s wonderful to watch.
