Chelsea won easily in the end tonight, but it was vital to get the first goal to break the game open.
It looked like it might be difficult once Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner had been subbed off, but Kai Havertz stepped up to score a lovely finish and set the team on their way.
Interviewed after the game, he only had compliments for his teammates however. In recounting the goal, he noted how “Callum [Hudson-Odoi] did a good assist,” when his finish was the real talking point.
You can see Havertz speaking in the clip from BT Sport embedded here:
"I hope the injuries are not so bad for them."
"Coming from the bench, you always have to be ready."
"They are top-level strikers and I hope it's not too bad for them."
