It looks like at least one of Chelsea’s contract situations this summer is now sorted out, albeit not officially.
The Blues have Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Andreas Christensen all in the last year of their contracts and free to agree a pre-contract with a new club in January if they have not signed a new deal by then.

Andreas Christensen though we can worry much less about now as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has some important information on him.
He claims that Chelsea ‘have an agreement in place’ with Christensen to extend his contract and that it is just a matter of time to sign the paperwork and fix the clauses, as he reported early this Sunday morning..

Two clubs showed interest in Christensen in the last weeks – but no chance for talks as he’s set to sign the new deal.

That’s great news for Chelsea and Blues fans, especially with those ‘two clubs’ showing an interest in signing him.
