Trevoh Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen all have deals running down soon, only Chalobah has longer than just half a season.

So Chelsea will most certainly need to be, and will be, looking at contingency plans if they do end up losing a number of their defenders on a free this summer.
The report claims that they will reignite their attempts to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla, after failing to agree a fee with his club to sign him in the summer. But he is back on the radar now and could end up replacing one of the above, if they cannot tie them down to new deals.
