Mauricio Pochettino is preparing for his first Champions League games of the season as PSG manager, and in his press conference today he was asked who he thought his side might have to take down to win the competition.
He didn’t hesitate to point out Chelsea as “the team to beat”, given they’re reigning champions. He also noted we’ve reinforced well this summer, and made the odd claim that we’ve spent more than PSG.
Whatever makes you feel better, Mauricio. Good luck winning the French league this season, by the way.

🗣"Chelsea are the defending champion, therefore I would say they are the team to beat."
