Chelsea weren’t good against Zenit St Petersburg tonight, but on BT Spotr they pointed out that they had the man to make the difference – Romelu Lukaku.
Rio Ferdinand explained how the Belgian has developed as a player in the last few years, and said that he expected Lukaku to be a difference maker this season.
Joe Cole went even further – “he’s a finisher now… he’s a killer.”
The striker certainly has that look about him now – and tonight there’s no way Chelsea would have got the job done without him.
