Saul made an unexpectedly early debut for Chelsea against Aston Villa on Saturday, and the midfielder did struggle on his Premier League bow.
He was taken off at half time, and his captain Cesar Azpilicueta was asked in the Champions League press conference about his thoughts on the rocky start.
As you’d expect, Azpi backed his countryman to bounce back from the bad beginning. He may get a chance sooner rather than later too – we’re back to two games a week this week, and the hectic schedule will only continue.
