There was another round of international matches last night and it was a great occasion for one youngster in particular.
The Blues have a lot of fantastic youngsters coming up through the ranks, and some of them have been gaining vital senior first team experience out on loan.
Left back Ian Maatsen is with Coventry this season, and the 19-year old made his debut for his country and Under-21 level last night, coming on as a second half sub. He’s featured throughout the youth teams with Holland, but now he is on the final step before the senior squad.
