There was one strangely rushed and last minute loan deal that felt a little desperate on the last day of the transfer window in the summer.
Ethan Ampadu joined Italian side Venezia on loan, and many people questioned the move, as did I.
The Italian side sit third from bottom having played 6 matches so far, and Ampadu until last night, was yet to feature, already proving peoples doubts correct.

Another relegation fight for Amapdu this season did not, and does not seem the right way to go for his progression at all, especially if he isn’t even going to get minutes. These loans are SO frustrating and not smart at all from Chelsea.
However, Ampadu DID manage to get his debut last night, coming on as a 38th minute sub to replace an injured player.
Vacca can’t continue, and Ampadu steps on for his club debut.

Although his side then went 1-0 down to Torino, Ampadu helped them fight back to 1-1 and earn a point in what was a decent debut for the Blues youngster.
