With Chelsea looking to soon wrap up the signing of Romelu Lukaku up top, they should then go back to a deal that they have been working on alongside this one.
It may have taken a bit of a back burner and paused for now whilst Chelsea tie up the final stages of the Lukaku deal, but a Chelsea move for Jules Kounde from Sevilla is still potentially on the cards this summer.
Personal terms have been agreed, and Sevilla just await Chelsea’s proposal.
We expect this to click back into gear again once the Lukaku deal is officially done. But until then, ABC Sevilla have a fresh report on it.
They claim that it is Thomas Tuchel who is pressing for this deal to be done, and that Sevilla are looking at replacement options.
Kounde is confident of moving to Chelsea and the club are at the moment looking for a way to get the deal done.
