For those of you who desperately wanted Chelsea to sign Erling Haaland over Romelu Lukaku this summer, you may well now understand why the club didn’t, if the latest report is to be believed.
And to be honest, I’m more than inclined to believe it, due to the agent involved.
BILD have revealed the wages and agent fees that Mino Raiola was/is demanding for his client Erling Haaland to be transferred out of Dortmund, and it’s simply astronomical.
They claim that Raiola is asking for 50 million euros a year wages for Haaland, plus a whopping 40 million euros in agent fees, as BILD reporter Christian Falk tweeted here below..

When you hear this, it is no surprise at all that Chelsea turned their attentions to Lukaku this summer, other than his obvious and clear world class talent.
Haaland is a fantastic player no doubt, but those fees are nothing short of being absolutely ridiculous.
