Chelsea set to confirm yet another departure and more funds incoming

Chelsea are slowly confirming a number of outgoing transfer deals over the last few weeks, building up those incoming funds that fans will be hoping will go on a new big-name striker this summer.

Marc Guehi joined Crystal Palace over the weekend, and now another youngster is set to depart the club on a permanent deal.

Ike Ugbo has one-year left on his deal at the club, so it is likely that Chelsea will get some sort of fee for him, albeit not too much. However, every little helps, and he certainly isn’t going to be playing for Chelsea first team anytime soon, so a permanent deal makes sense for all parties.

The 22-year old has been at Chelsea since 2007 but he has been constantly part of the loan army. He looks set to finally find some stability in his career after agreeing terms with Belgian side, Genk.

Deal to be completed in the new few days…
