Chelsea already totalling almost £50million in player sales this summer

It appears that more of the groundwork for Chelsea’s summer transfer business has been confirmed yesterday.

It has always been largely reported that the club were looking to make a few players sales before putting offers in for players they want to sign themselves this summer, and yesterday saw an extra £18million added to the transfer funds in terms of player sales.

Blues defender Marc Guehi joined Crystal Palace on a permanent transfer yesterday for a fee that is expected to be at least £18million.

This has now bought Chelsea’s player sales figure close to £50million this summer already, and that is even before other departures that we are expecting to see with players such as Emerson Palmieri, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Davide Zappacosta.

As detailed by Nizaar Kinsella below, Chelsea have already made £48million by selling Fikayo Tomor, Marc Guehi, Victor Moses, and Olivier Giroud.

It’s looking good now if Chelsea want to pull off some of the massive rumoured deals they themselves are looking at!
