Chelsea player Billy Gilmour is very much in the headlines at the moment after stepping up to international level with such ease, and his future is being debated, especially in Scotland.
Their top pundit – Graeme Souness – reckons a loan move is a mistake. Speaking on Sky, he compared the situation to the one Phil Foden had at Man City, where he stayed put and made himself a first team player just by impressing in training and in his cameos in the cup competitions.
We’ve seen many times it’s a tough call for any player and any team.
