One of those is the immediate future of Scotland international Billy Gilmour, who’s emergence into senior football has been very impressive.
Gilmour burst onto the scene under Frank Lampard, and he has also been used a bit by Thomas Tuchel. However, for his development, he might now need to be playing a lot more, and a loan move this summer is on the cards.
According to The Sun, Gilmour is considering asking for a loan move this summer to improve his game time.
A loan move to a decent team absolutely makes sense here for all parties, rather than Gilmour watching from the sides and playing cup games. He is going to be a top, top player and needs to play.
