Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Arsenal at Stamford Bridge tonight, and as much as we’d love to blame a referee or a bit of bad luck, the whole match was decided by a nasty error.
You could hear it in Thomas Tuchel’s voice as he chatted to Sky Sports after the game. They tried to tempt him into blaming Jorginho and he held back – but he did admit passing to Kepa’s right foot is the priority, and might have saved his team.
“This is the rule” he said wistfully as he thought back to the way his midfielder had blindly skewed the ball towards his own net.
