Chelsea target Romelu Lukaku to ‘keep channels open’ with Inter exit possible

Chelsea are in the market for a potential new big name striker this summer, and as we know, these are few and far between.

Erling Haaland was always the main man constantly mentioned alongside the rumours, but Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku is also a potential option.

Thomas Tuchel has named PSG centre back Marquinhos as a summer target, read the full story here.

The latest on that is rather positive for Chelsea if they do want to bring their former front man back to Stamford Bridge.

According to the paper version of Corriere dello Sport today (as cited by Sport Witness), Lukaku has told his entourage to keep all channels open on his future, and  ‘the green light could arrive for a sale that would help the accounts of Viale Liberazione a lot’.

They state he will cost 120 million euros if Chelsea want to sign him, and also mention Manchester City as a potential option for him as well.

Whether Chelsea would pay that much remains to be seen.
