Chelsea have a number of players with uncertain futures as we approach yet another transfer window, and it is the big summer window.
January presented a small chance to get some deals done for clubs, but with the pandemic causing financial issues across the board, things were very quiet.
Thomas Tuchel has named PSG centre back Marquinhos as a summer target, read the full story here.
We still had some rumours circulating around Chelsea of potential departures, and left back Emerson Palmieri looked like he could leave the club.
However, he ended up staying and wanted to try and impress new boss Thomas Tuchel. Despite that, he hasn’t had many chances to do that, but even still, Emerson says he remains clam and happy at Chelsea, and he has also explained why he didn’t leave in January.
It transpires that he actually didn’t receive any firm offers, but he does not appear overly concerned by that at all.
"The first day he [Tuchel] arrived, he told me that I was important for him. He knows how to handle the dressing room.
"He's very sincere and says the things that need to be said – it doesn't matter if you're playing well or not."

With that said though, I’ll be shocked if he is still at Stamford Bridge at the end of this summer.
