We had been questioning the continuing use of Kai Havertz as a number 9 in recent days after a couple of games where it just hasn’t worked, but with just 9 minutes on the clock today he’s scored a lovely goal.
Chelsea were applying serious pressure, leading to the German picking the ball up inside the box. He worked it onto his left foot and then curled a delicate finish out of Vicente Guaita’s reach into the far post.
If he’s doing that, he’s welcome to play wherever he likes…
You can see the goal in the clip embedded here, with footage from Sport TV:
🔥🔥 Class of Kai! 🔥🔥

Kai is fit to play the position number 9
Chelsea should not wast money on paying any number 9
