Thomas Tuchel is fielding questions about the European Super League in his press conference this afternoon, and after being asked for his own thoughts, he was asked how his players feel about the explosive news.
It was put to him that they were likely to be very worried, considering there are threats that players taking part will be banned from international competitions, among other things.
Thomas Tuchel hasn't seen the players yet because training is scheduled for later today.

Tuchel doesn't know what the players think because training was moved to later today after the City game at the weekend. Totally believably, but also very convenient.

Tuchel answered that he didn’t know, as he hasn’t seen the group since the news was announced last night. He explained that training had been moved to later today to give them more time to recover from Saturday’s win over Man City, ahead of tomorrow night’s match against Brighton.
That’s perfectly believable, although it’s also a very convenient excuse. He won’t be able to make the same move later this week however – so the club better come up with a good party line before then.
