Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel are cut from the same cloth, and jsut as Tuchel gave a lot of respect to Guardiola when asked about him in the press conference before their clash in the FA Cup semi final tomorrow, so Guardiola gave it back.
“I knew it from the beginning,” the Spaniard responded when asked if he was impressed by Tuchel’s rise to the top. He had seen him as Bayern manager when the now Chelsea-manager was starting out an Mainz, and had recognised a kindred spirit.
