Thomas Tuchel is wonderfully open at times as a coach, willing to pull back the curtain a little more than some others when it comes to discussing his team and their decisions.
Asked about N’Golo Kante’s form, Tuchel was full of praise, but also had a warning. “He will not play all games 90 minutes before we arrive in the national break” he explained, noting the injury that his midfielder has just returned from.
Managing Kante’s minutes has been a real issue for Chelsea for years now, and it’s great to see that situation seemingly being taken care of.
