International roundup: MOTM Kovacic, Ziyech protected, Batshuayi scores, Ampadu 90mins

We had another round of international matches last night and don’t worry Chelsea fans, we are back in action in just 3 days now!

Even still, there was a number of Chelsea players on display once again last night and it was on the whole, another positive outcome.

Do Chelsea have any more striker targets other than Erling Haaland? Find out here in my latest newsletter. Don’t forget to subscribe, all my content there is FREE!

The best was to see Hakim Ziyech only get used for a few cameo minutes at the end of Morocco’s 1-0 win of Burundi in the African cup of nations qualifier.

Michy Batshuayi scored in Belgium’s heavy 8-0 win over Belarus.

Ethan Ampadu played another full 90 minutes in midfield as Wales got an impressive 1-0 win over Czech Republic.

And finally, Mateo Kovacic was super impressive in a man of the match performance as his Croatia side beat Malta 3-0.

Good night all round, one night left, well until the next time of course.

But Chelsea will be hoping that the rest of their players come back unscathed and injury-free, with N’Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi both having to return with injuries so far.
