“It’s almost like night and day” – Chelsea player describes differences between Lampard and Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel has now been in charge at Chelsea for 12 matches, and time has gone fast.

But it always does when you’re having fun right? And Chelsea can certainly be described as having fun since Tuchel took over.

I also have some significant exclusive news on Chelsea’s pursuits of Erling Haaland and Gianluigi Donnarumma here.

He has transformed the clubs fortunes taking them from mid-table into the Champions League places, and he still remains unbeaten since arriving, keeping 10 clean sheets along the way.

Nobody can doubt the impact he has made so far. Whatever went wrong under Frank Lampard, there are improvements and changes in some players that has been clear for us all to see.

One player has described the differences as “it’s almost like night and day”, according to a report from the reliable Julien Laurens of ESPN yesterday. Unfortunately we don’t get to hear which player it was.

Laurens says Tuchel exchanged ideas with players and club officials before and after arriving at the club as well, saying ‘let’s be honest, pretty much everything has been different from the Lampard era to the Tuchel era’.
