We do enjoy listening to Thomas Tuchel talk about football, and he’s given another interesting take on things tonight after his team’s narrow win over Atletico.
In reference to the fluency which he still thinks his attacking players lack in his system, Tuchel said “it’s like learning a new song.” IE – the repetition of playing games the way he wants will gradually condition the players to his tactical ideas.
You won’t catch us complaining about a 1-0 win over a European giant in the Champions League knockout – and we’re excited to see what’s to come.
