Jose Mourinho has just steered Tottenham to a win in the FA Cup, but inevitably he was asked after the game about the big news of the day – Chelsea’s sacking of Frank Lampard.
As the man who has known him for so long and managed him to such success, he was of course sympathetic about Lampard’s sacking. He said he “feels sad” for someone who was an “important person” in his career.
He sounded sincere, and despite being someone who likes to play games and who may not love Chelsea as he did before, we really think he meant it.
You can see Mourinho speaking in the clip embedded below, with this answer coming after three minutes.
Well I feel so happy for Frank but the deal have to be done
I love Frank Lampard..I want the best for him.
