Sky Sports: Chelsea interested in signing 18-year old left back

The transfer window ends this Sunday and it has remained very quiet at Stamford Bridge, largely because of the process of the manager change.

All bar maybe perhaps a couple of late deals to loan some players out, it will stay quiet on the transfer front probably until the summer now, as Thomas Tuchel explores and decides on his squad for the rest of the season.

There is one player being monitored by the Chelsea board for a potential future move though, Hibernian left back Josh Doig, according to Sky Sports.

The 18-year old has had 19 caps for the Scottish side this season and is attracting interest not just from Chelsea, but from Arsenal and Celtic as well, according to the report.

The Scottish under-18 international is showing a lot of potential and therefore attracting interest from a host of the top clubs.

Chelsea could soon sell both Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso, so could be in the market for a new left back.
