Perhaps the impending rumoured Fikayo Tomori to AC Milan loan move is not as close as some might believe.
This is because the defender has currently been training as normal at Chelsea’s Cobham on Monday afternoon, as pictured below.

Most of the large transfer news sources have been reporting that a loan deal for Tomori to join Milan is close, with an option to buy being inserted in to the deal.
Fikayo Tomori is set to join AC Milan from Chelsea. The agreement is expected to be completed next week on loan with buy option [*no* obligation] around €30m. Tomori will fly to Milano in the next few days.

However, Frank Lampard’s comments this afternoon in his press conference doesn’t really paint the same picture.
Kante out tomorrow, confirms Frank.
He also said this on Fik..
“Fikayo is a developing player. We can’t play all our CBs in one game. This year we have 5, the predicament is difficult. He wants to play regularly and that’s why he may go out on loan."https://t.co/So5xvShoOh

We will have to just wait and see what the next few days brings.
