The last couple of days has bought one major talking point for Chelsea fans, the news of the club allegedly looking to bring Avram Grant back to the club in some capacity.
Grant is known to be a friend of Roman Abramovich, so the stories suggesting that he could return in a backroom role to Stamford Bridge were not too far-fetched.

However, it has been a short-lived rumour that has now been firmly squashed by The Telegraph’s Matt Law, who’s reliability is un-questionable.
Law confidently states that Chelsea have no plans to bring Grant back in any capacity.
I had been ignoring this but seeing as it won't fully go away, I'm assured on good authority that Chelsea have no plans to bring back Avram Grant in any capacity #cfc

This confirmation doesn’t look good at all for Sky Sports, who were the source of the Grant back to Chelsea story just a day before.
Grant has worked at Chelsea in a couple of roles before, including as a manager. So I guess with the pressure on Frank Lampard right now, it was a pretty easy story to release.
