Chelsea were in a tough spot for tonight’s game, facing a really tough Aston Villa team on a run of really bad form.
The Amazon interviewer after the game asked whether Frank Lampard had been pleased by an improved performance from his side, and the Chelsea manager said that he thought he’d “got a reaction” from his partly changed side.
We can see what he means – there was more effort and more commitment against a fierce Villa side, but we could have done with a lot more – three points, for a start.
