Frank Lampard joined in the chorus of praise for Olivier Giroud tonight, calling him the “ultimate professional”, after he scored four against Sevilla tonight.
The manager also went into detail on how his role in the team tactically worked, and how his presence on the training pitch helped keep those others who don’t always start in line.
On the subject of which of his strikers would start this weekend, the manager was a little less open in his answer.
