Hakim Ziyech: “We believe” we can win the Premier League this season

Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech has become the latest player in the squad to speak of their collective belief of being able to win the Premier League title this season.

Confidence within the group appears to be higher than ever, and this can only be a good thing for Frank Lampard’s side.

Chelsea are in pole position to sign David Alaba, full story HERE.

They are on the back of a 14-game unbeaten (in 90 minutes) run, and you can see their new-found confidence on the pitch in recent matches.

The new signings are really starting to click, and Lampard is gaining an identity and style of play with his preferred 4-3-3 formation with a holding midfielder.

Ziyech says the squad must believe they can win the title, and they do believe it. Despite being out injured at the start of the season, the Moroccan international has already proven how much of a creative asset he will be for the club.

As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Ziyech said:

“Of course, you always have to believe in it [winning the Premier League].

“It starts from believing in it and then working every day harder. But you have to believe it is possible and I think that is what we are doing. We believe it and at the end of the season we will see what we do.

“I’m happy [with his Chelsea start], I feel good. I feel at home and those things are the most important when you perform on the pitch. I always know what I’m capable of doing. I always trust in myself, I’m calm in my head. Peaceful. And all the other things will come by themselves.”
