James Simmonds is a rising star of the Chelsea academy, now U18s assistant manager and with a bright future ahead.
He is the subject of a fascinating “coaches’ voice” feature on transition play, where he explains the drills and philosophies the club have in place all the way from junior levels up to Frank Lampard’s senior side.
It’s amazing to see how much thought and effort goes into these things, and the excellent drone footage and quality production from CV make it all the easier to appreciate and understand.
