Chelsea had an excellent summer in the transfer market, bringing in a host of top new signings.
As a result, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is being constantly asked whether Chelsea will be doing bits again next summer, according to the man himself on his latest Here We Go Podcast.
Romano says fans are expectant now after the players that arrived this summer, but reality says they won’t be going too mad again just yet.
However, Chelsea are planning to sign a new centre back, says Romano. A young-ish player, but also one who comes with decent experience. One with room to improve, but has already picked up regular vital game time playing in top leagues.
They only name he really mentions in passing is Jose Gimenez from Atletico Madrid, so he leaves the rest of the speculation up to us fans, but the information is very interesting all the same.
