Frank Lampard is taking the prematch press conference ahead of Chelsea’s game with Tottenham tomorrow, and as always he started off being asked about injury news.
It’s good news all around on that front: he confirmed that Christian Pulisic will be back in the squad and that Kai Havertz, who got a few minutes against Rennes in midweek, would also be in consideration, although we assume he’s not ready to start just yet.
In quotes picked up by the club’s Twitter, Lampard described that as “pretty good shape”, and frankly it couldn’t do much better.

The hard part now will be picking the XI that stands the best chance of getting a result.
Most of the positions are decided, but with Timo Werner missing a few chances recently and both Havertz and Pulisic now pressing to get back in, there are big decisions down the line.
At least we know the manager can make them all on the basis of form, without worrying about fitness.
