Chelsea could be rather busy again in the January transfer window.
With the club still holding a rather large squad, there will be a number of players looking to head out on loan or on a permanent deal this winter.
The likes of Emerson Palmieri, Baba Rahaman, and Kepa Arrizabalaga will be desperate to pursue regular first team football with important international games coming up.
Kepa has the Euros with Spain, so it will be essential for him that he plays regular football from this winter onwards, which is why he could go on loan this January.
No sign of Kai Havertz in this clip of #CFC training ahead of the Rennes game. Perhaps he’s being rested. Kepa now looks fully fit after a shoulder problem but unless Mendy gets injured, could be a while before he starts a game again. https://t.co/OeqK6MnjCY

Edouard Mendy has come in at Chelsea and already nailed down that number one position. Add to that the fact Chelsea have added Petr Cech to their squad this season, Kepa has very little chance of ever playing for the club again.
The only way forward for him now is to go on loan for the rest of the season and regain his confidence enough to keep his Spain spot.
