Chelsea face Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
The Blues go with a strong team, as expected, with some of the strong performers from the last two games
Edouard Mendy makes his debut in goal, behind a defence of Azpi, Zouma, Tomori and Ben Chilwell, making his first start. After Marcos Alonso’s two mistakes and reported bad behaviour after the draw with West Brom last week, it could be a while before we see him in a Chelsea shirt again now Chilwell is fit.
It’s the dreaded Jovacic midfield ahead of that, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount and Timo Werner playing behind Olivier Giroud up top.
This should be a team strong enough to beat Spurs, and hopefully to help Frank Lampard pick his team for the weekend’s Premier League fixture.
