Chelsea have only just played against Brighton in their first Premier League game of the new season last night, but they are set for another match today.
However, it is very unlikely that any of the players who played a full match last night will be featuring today, but it will be a chance for some of the players due to go on loan to keep match fitness up, as well as new signing Thiago Silva potentially stretching his legs as a Chelsea player for the first time.
This is according to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, who tweeted yesterday that Chelsea are set to play a ‘behind closed doors friendly’ against Wimbledon today.
Hearing Chelsea have a behind closed doors friendly with Wimbledon tomorrow. Thiago Silva may use it to get minutes ahead of a debut. Future #CFC loan army players to use the fixture too keep match fit too.

We always joke about Chelsea having an army of loan players and they can often field two or three more teams from them!
So today will probably feature a number of these players. It will also be good for Silva to get some minutes in the tank ahead of a long campaign.
