Chelsea look like they have a real mission on their hands if they are to land Declan Rice from West Ham in the last 5 days of the transfer window.
Rice has been a reported priority target for Chelsea for some time now but they were always expected to be making their move in the final week of the window after movements on player outgoings had been made themselves.
On a day when it has been confirmed that one of those movements, Ross Barkley to Aston Villa on loan is done, news that Chelsea are about to offer two more of their players to West Ham as part of a deal to sign Rice surfaces.
According to The Transfer Window Podcast, Chelsea are set to offer both Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Antonio Rudiger on loan to West Ham as part of the Rice pursuit.
Both players look to be heading towards the exit door at Chelsea, and West Ham could be swayed on taking both with a need to add some quality themselves.
