We all went into this game with one thing in mind – keeping the score line respectable.
It didn’t look like that was going to be possible once we’d conceded two goals in 25 minutes to make it 5-0 on aggregate. But Callum Hudson-Odoi scored one that was wiped out by VAR, and Tammy Abraham has now added a second (which counted).
Manuel Neuer couldn’t hold a cross and the striker, as he so often is, was in position in the six yard box to turn the ball home.
It’s a little pride back in the performance at least.
