Premier League teams won’t have much time to train this summer, with little over a month until the season restarts.
But despite the lack of time, Frank Lampard already knows how and where his Blues team can improve after an impressive first season.
Speaking after the FA Cup final defeat, the Chelsea boss was clearly upset but had clear in his mind what his team can do to get better, even in such a short break:
“Defensively of course we have to improve,” he admitted, in a discussion which saw him remind everyone of the struggles that teams like Liverpool and Manchester City had in the early stages under their new managers.
